M. Cristo Inc. was started in the Capital District in 1922 and has maintained their operations here ever since. When Michael Cristo started the business, demolition was barely an industry, so the focus of our work was in excavation and minor demolition projects, both of which were done either by hand or with teams of horses. As the industry grew and introduced hydraulic machinery, M. Cristo Inc. embraced the new technology and grew as well.
